If you have created your website with an HTML editor, like Dreamweaver or Microsoft Expression Studio, or others… you have to upload your website files via FTP (File Transfer Protocol). We have a built-in FTP File Manager that you can access in our Hosting Control Center to transfer or upload your website files to your hosting. If your files are large, we recommend using FTP (File Transfer Protocol) like FileZilla, which you can download here and it works with Windows®, Mac®, and Linux® operating systems, or you can use other third-party FTP clients as well.

Linux and Windows are two (2) different types of operating systems (OS). However, Linux is the most popular operating system for web servers or hosting services. And since Linux-based hosting is more popular, it has more features that web designers and owners need and want. Therefore, unless you have websites which need specific Windows applications, Linux would be your best choice.
